DR. JOHN A. GILRUTH United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, March 4 The death is announced of Dr. John Anderson Gilruth, chief of the Division of Animal Health of the Commonwealth Council • of Scientific and Industrial Research, aged 66. He was formerly attached to the Agriculture Department in New Zealand and later was Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia.
