KILLED IN CRASH
TWO MORE AVIATION VICTIMS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph- Copyright (Received January 31, 6.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, January 31. An aeroplane crashed in the vicinity of Essendon aerodrome yesterday afternoon and Frederick Ridgeway (30) and lan McKenzie (25) were both killed. The machine was smashed to match wood. Ridgeway was an aviation engineer and McKenzie a solicitor. Both were licensed pilots. Their machine went into a spin 1000 feet up. McKenzie was a competitor in the recent Adelaide Centenary race.
