THE HALF HOLIDAY

MARTON MAKES A CHANGE By Telegraph—Press Association MARTON, January 30. The half holiday issue was again debated by Marton retailers last evening when the proposal to change from Wednesday to Saturday was carried by a close margin of votes. The change is to take effect from March. The issue was debated twice previously. A decision to change to Saturday, reached at a meeting in November, was negatived at a meeting the following week. The retailers are still very divided, but a further upset is unlikely.
