CRIPPLE REMANDED

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE By TelegraDD—press Association AUCKLAND, January 30. A crippled pensioner. Alfred Arthur Ericksen (51), who was prevented by x pedestrian from falling from the parapet of the Grafton Bridge last evening, pleaded guilty to-day to attempting to commit suicide. The police said Ericksen stated that he suffered pains in the head, and for the first time for over a year he took liquor. He was r- anded February 5 to enable Inquiries to be made.
