FORCED OFF ROAD

CAR DRIVEN TOO FAST By Telegraph—Presi Association WELLINGTON, January 30. Shortly after 10 o’clock last night, Mr J. S. Stalker, plumber, Lower Hutt, returning to Wellington with his five year old son, in a baby motor-car, was forced off the road near the Takapu Bridge, Tawa Flat, by a motor-car overtaking him fast round a corner. Another car chased the offending vehicle, but was unable to catch it. Mr Stalker escaped with a severe bruising, and his son received a substantial cut on the wrist. Mr Stalker went home leaving the car upside down against a fence.
