KITCHEN EVENING
Miss Ina McFarlane, Craigie Street, was the hostess at a very enjoyable kitchen evening on Thursday when many suitable gifts were received by Miss Ethel Adams whose marriage takes place on February 9. Miss McFarlane received her guests in a patterned georgette frock with short coat of green taffeta. Miss Adams’ frock was of ice blue lace. The rooms were decorated with dahlias carnations and roses. The guests included Mrs J. S. Satterthwaite, the Misses Myra and Olga McFarlane, Chassie and Maud Howden, Edna Reid, Lenore and Berta Wood, Alyth Begg, Marie Tucker, Isabel Duncan, Audrey Holdgate, Frances and Marjorie Greenfield, Doreen Andrews, Betty Sutherland, Diana Smythe, Molly Cave, Mary Cleland and Bell Morton. Enjoyable musical items were given and many competitions were played during the evening.
