SCOPE OF TELEVISION
USE FOR BOXING TOURNAMENTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copvrlgbt (Received January 29, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 28 The scope of television is being extended by plans to televise an amateur boxing tournament from Alexandra Palace on February 4, this being the first experiment for regularly televising big fights in the near future.
