REMOVAL OF BARRIERS TO FRIENDSHIP United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 27, 6.30 p.m.) DUBLIN, December 26 Mr E. De Valera (president of the Executive of the Irish Free State) in the course of a broadcast to America, said: “We wish to be on terms of friendship with Britain, and the obstacles to this friendship are being removed one by one. I look forward to the day when they will all have disappeared. May that day come in the year before us.”
