Sunday was the thirty-fourth birthday of the Duke of Kent. The youngest member of the Royal Family, the Duke of Kent was born on December 30, 1902, nearly two years after the Duke of Gloucester, who was born on March 31, 1900. The Duke of Kent was for some time a sub-lieutenant in the Navy and later entered the Foreign Office, being the first member of his I family to be attached to a civil service, j He has toured South America and I South Africa. His marriage to I Princess Marina of Greece took place at the end of 1934, and he has one son, Prince Edward.
