Lost in a storm of rain and snow, a transport plane with 11 persons aboard was forced to land on a mountainside. The pilot, Dick Merrill, who was co-pilot in a flight across the Atlantic in September landed with such skill that no passengers were injured. He was scratched and lost a tooth.
