Within a day of the announcement that an American is preparing to attack the ••Bluebird’ 1 :” speed record. Sir Malcolm Campbell made it known that he does not intend to race again. He promised his wife he would give up once he attained a speed of 300 miles an hour, he has since regretted, and the promise must be kept.

It is suggested that the car be exhibited throughout the Empire before it is given to the Museum.
