FIRE ABOUT MARCONI’S STEAMER United Press Association—By Electria Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 26, 5.5 p.m.) ROME, November 25. The Marchese Marconi was conducting mysterious wireless experiments aboard the Eleptra, anchored at Civita Vecchia, when a fire broke out, and burnt fiercely until quelled by fire brigades, after several hours’ battle, which was supervised by the Marchese, who was anxious for the safety of the valuable plant.
