IN DISTRESS
NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, October 13. The Tourist Department has been advised that applications by distressed New Zealanders to the Sydney office for financial relief have been phenomenal. The Commissioner in Sydney has no funds on which he can draw for the purpose, and advises people not to proceed to Australia without possessing adequate resources.
