WRESTLING
UNPOPULAR DECISION By Telegraph—Press Association ASHBURTON. October 1. In a strenuous eight rounds McCready gained a decision over Kruse before a crowded house to-night. Kruse scored a fall in the fourth round pinning McCready after tossing him round the ring. Kruse submitted to a Boston crab early in the last round, and the referee gave the bout to McCready, whose win was not popular, a large section of the spectators clamouring for a draw. There was little of the spectacular in the bout, but considerable showmanship. Kruse frequently left the ring and argued with the referee.
