SOCIAL EVENING There was a fair attendance at the fortnightly social held In aid of hall funds. The prizes were won by Mrs G. Parr (20 games), with Mrs L. N. Brown (18 games) runner-up. Mr J. Slattery was the winner of the men’s prize with 18 games, Mr L. N. Brown being runner-up with 15 games.

PERSONAL Miss Joyce Ford, who has been visiting Timaru, has returned home. Miss Millicent Pratt, who has been on a visit to Timaru, returned home during the week-end.
