In spite of the inclement weather a happy throng of dancers filled the Springbrook School on the occasion of the annual ball of the spinsters and bachelors of Springbrook. The grand march was led by the secretaries Miss Ngarie Allan and Mr Stewart Rogers. Music was supplied by a Waimate orchestra assisted with extras by Mrs R.
