PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN PROPOSED United frees Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 22. The National Federation of Meat Traders’ Associations contemplates spending £125,000 yearly in order to publicise meat throughout Britain. It is hoped that the Empire, in addition to British producers, will contribute to the fund. The president, Mr C. A. Coggan, addressing the conference, drew attention to the New Zealand, Australia and Argentine meat publicity schemes. • He urged tire removal of quotas in order to permit of heavier importations for the purpose of storage owing to the danger of war.
