BREAKING AND ENTERING By Telegraph—Press Association HAMILTON, September 23 Appearing on remand from Napier. Eric Alfred Chapman (23), pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to breaking and entering Messrs J. J. Niven's premises and stealing money and a cheque valued at £45, and breaking and entering the Hamilton Borough Gasworks. Detective White said that the accused made a frank confession of the offences, and gave the police every assistance. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington, for sentence, where he will also be sentenced for ten offences at Napier and two at Palmerston North.
