SETTLEMENT EFFECTED By Telegraph—Press Association GORE, September 23. Following a conference of directors of the King Solomon deep lead mine and employees to-day, a settlement was reached in the dispute which caused the mine to be closed down on Monday. A joint statement was issued at the conclusion of the conference to the effect that an amicable agreement was reached, and as a result the mine resumes normal operations to-morrow morning.
