TYPHOON IN KOREA
HEAVY LIST OF CASUALTIES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received September 1, 1.5 a.m.) SEOUL, August 31. As a result of the typhoon in South Korea, the casualties are estimated at 1516 dead and 1183 injured, with 769 missing. Houses numbering 33,254 have been demolished and 46,225 submerged.
