Mr E. V. Moore, of the Dunedin telegraph engineer’s staff, has been promoted to the position of assistant supervisor in the engineer’s office at Wellington.
The manager of the Dimedin office of the United Fire Insurance Company for the last 19 years, Mr S. B. Macdonald, has received notice of his transfer to Auckland as manager of the company's office in that city.
