MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL IN THE MATTER of the Counties Act 1920, the Local Body Loans Act 1926 and the Local Elections and Polls Act 1925 and all Amendments thereto appertaining. NTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in terms of Section 9 of the Local Body Loans Act 1926, that it is proposed by the Mackenzie County Council to raise under Part 1 of the Local Body Loans Act 1926 a Special Loan of £16,000 for the purpose of rebuilding worn out timber bridges in the County in ferro-concrete.

The currency of the Loan shall be for twenty-five (25) years from the date of raising the same. It is not proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan or the first year’s repayment instalments out of Loan Monies. Repayment of the loan is to be made on the Instalment Repayment System by half-yearly amounts from the General Account but as security for the Loan the Council propose to appropriate and pledge a Special Rate of .09 of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) of all rateable property in the Mackenzie County.
