Dance patrons are reminded that the Timaru Scottish Society’s popular weekly dance will be continued in the Scottish Hall to-night. Beginning at the Labour Day weekend ir October, and extending over three days, an inter-club competition will be conducted by the Southern Districts Model Aeroplane Association, representatives of the southern part of the North Island. It is anticipated that there will be some 120 competitors, representing numerous affiliated clubs. The Milson aerodrome has been chosen as the venue for the gathering because of its central situation Trophies will be awarded for each class, covering every type of model, from hand-launched gliders to large petroldriven models.
