MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB The following were the scores at the weekly shoot of the Arundel Miniature Rifle Club: A. Lewis 80, W. Johnston 79, O. Keen 79, L. Johnston 77, A. McDonald 76, J. Simpson 75, M. Tavener 74, E. Bateman 73, J. Lewis 74. A. McCully 72, D. McSweeney 72, I. Harris 72, J. Stack 71, D. Baker 71, F. Stack 70, J. McComb 68, G. Burrows 67, W. Johnston 65. FARMERS’ UNION MEETING On Tuesday evening a lecture was given by Mr A. Ward of Southburn, in the Howard Hall, in connection with the Farmers’ Union. Mr Charles was in the chair. Mr A. B. Struthers also gave a talk. At the conclusion of the meeting the chairman thanked the speakers for the interesting talks they had given.
