Mrs L. A. Scaife (Bidwill Street), was hostess at a most enjoyable pantry tea yesterday afternoon in honour of Miss Bette LeCren whose marriage to Mr Allen Curnow of Christchurch, will take place next Wednesday. The rooms were prettily decorated with prunus and japonica, and the bride-to-be was the recipient of many useful gifts to stock her pantry.
