LORD MAYOR’S VISIT TO VANCOUVER British Official Wireless (Received August 10, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, August 8 The Lord Mayor of London (Sir Percy Vincent), accompanied by Lady Vincent, and a deputation from the Corporation of the City of London, left this morning on an official visit to Vancouver (British Columbia) to be present at the Jubilee celebrations of that city. The party included the sheriffs, the Lord Mayor’s mace bearer, sword bearer, and the city marshall.; They are taking with them and will present to the City of Vancouver a mace, which is almost an exact copy of the City of London mace.
