Mrs Pitts-Brown, Wellington, is on a visit to Timaru. Mr and Mrs A. Cooper, Mrs E. Ruffell, Mrs L. Goldsmith and Miss L. Pearson, Dunedin, are guests at the Dominion. Mrs P. R. Woodhouse, Bluecliffs, returned yesterday from a visit to Christchurch. ~he Misses Lou and Anita Hazlett, Invercargill, will be visitors to Timaru this week for the Hunt ball. Miss E. Low, Masterton, who has been the guest of Mrs J. H. B. Scholefield, Nelson Flats, has left for the Hermitage. Dr and Mrs Chang, Miss R. Evans, Miss Heron, Christchurch, and Mr and Mrs Ernest Nees, Wellington, are guests at the Grand. Mr and Mrs W. Dobbie, Miss R. Dobbie and Mr and Mrs J. Haggitt, Dunedin, were guests at the Grosvenor during the week-end. Mr and Mrs P. Gresson, Invercargill, will arrive on Friday to stay with Mrs D. Unwin, Hart Street, for the Hunt Club festivities. Mrs W. T. Ritchie, Te Tawa, returne on Friday from a visit to Christchurch. Miss Joan Ritchie, Mr Tony Ritchie and Mr Leckie, Dunedin, will be Mrs Ritchie’s guests for the Hunt ball and races. Mr and Mrs K. H. Hargreaves, Kakahu, Miss Mary Ritchie, Dunedin, Mr Jim Ritchie, Christchurch, and Dr T. Maling, Christchurch, will be the guests

of Mrs W. H. Orbell, “Levels," for the Hunt ball and races. Miss Joan Harper, Grassy Hills, Mr Derek Westenra, Mr John Pavey, Mr Robin Harper and Mr Ross Westenra, will be Mrs C. L. Orbell’s guests at “Pentlow” for the Hunt Club festivities this week. Mr and Mrs J. E. Winter, Seaview Terrace, will leave early next week for their new home in Auckland. Mr Wintc~ has been appoint 1 manager of the Newton branch of the Union Bank in that city.
