REPORTS FROM GIBRALTAR United Preee Aseoclatlon-By Electno Telegraph - Copyright (Received July 19, 6.30 p.m.) GIBRALTAR, July 18. The revolt is reported to have affected several cities in Morocco. The rebels occupied the military headquarters at Ceuta, and the workers declared a general strike. All shops closed and transport ceased. Rebels Seize Radio Station. Senor Juan Moles, Spanish Minister of the Interior, in a broadcast mesage,
deciares that the rebels had seized the radio station at Ceuta, from which they were issuing false news, purporting to come from the Government Station at Seville, including a report that the revolutionaries had occupied the Ministries at Madrid, seizing himself and the Minister of War. Senor Moles added: “On the contray all is quiet in Madrid.” The Under-Secretary for the Interior, announced that the Foreign Legion at Ceuta, supported by native troops and other units, whose identity so far is not known, attacked loyal troops and civilians at the aerodromes, but the movement is confined to Melilla and Ceuta. Troops, air force and navaimen are mobilising to fight the rebels, who are still in possession of the strategical points.
