ACCUSED ABSCONDS By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, July 18. rhe sum of £25 which Charles Watts had advanced in order to bail out a man arrested on July 4 on a charge of being a rogue and a vagabond was estreated by Mr W. R. McKean. S.M., m the Magistrate s Court this morning becaused the accused, William Henry Kevin Toner, did not appear. Watts stated that tie had heard that loner had left for Sydney by the Niagara. “That was one of the things you agreed to prevent.” remarked tlie Magistrate in making the order estreating the bail.
