CHARGE OF THEFT
SEQUEL TO NEW PLYMOUTH ROBBERY United Press Association—By Elactrir Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 8, 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 8 W. E. Hewins was further remanded till July 16. William Ernest Hewins, alias Walter Jackson (27), was charged on July 1 in the Sydney Criminal Court with breaking into the shop of Laurence Hedges, in New Plymouth, and stealing a number of rings and watches Hewins was further charged with receiving, and also with being a prohibited immigrant.
