VERDICT AT INQUEST By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, July 8. The inquest regarding the death of Percy Leigh Overton, who was killed by an avalanche at the Homer tunnel, was held to-day at the headquarters camp before the Coroner and a jury. The finding was that death was caused f rough suffoc-tion as a result of being buried under snow, no blame being attachable to the Public “’-wks Department or any other person. A rider was added that the jury considered that owing to the treacherous nature of the country, a look-out man should be appointed in normal weather, and that work should be suspended when visibility was bad.
