WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP SURPRISE RESULT IN SEMIFINAL United Press Association—By’ dectrlo Telegraph Copyright Received July 8, 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 8 The surprise in the semi-finals of the associated State championship today was the defeat of Mrs R. A. Clements at the 20th hole by Mrs Clive Robinson. Mrs R. Pennefather beat Mrs L. Hore at the 21st. This is the first time in the history of the associated championship that both semi-final matches have gone beyond the 18th hole.
