INTER-DOMINION CONTESTS RICH PRIZES OFFERED AT ADELAIDE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE, July 8. The South Australian Trotting Association has issued a tentative programme for the Inter-Dominion championships, which will be held at Adelaide in January. The mile-and-a-quarter event is worth £750, and is for horses that can do that distance at the rate of 2min 12sec to the mile. The mile-and-a-half race is worth £9OO, and the limit is 3mln 21sec. The two-mile event has been allotted £lOOO, and is for horses that can do 4min 30sec or faster, and the Grand Final, of £l6OO and a gold cup, will be decided over a mile and a half. The limit is 3min 21sec. Several other races with rich prizes will also be Included in the programme. All told, £7OOO will be distributed in stakes at the meeting.
