GOOD DEMAND FROM CONTINENT AND YORKSHIRE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 18, 9.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 18. At the wool sales to-day, 6608jbales were offered and 4038 were sold, also 4540 privately. There was a good demand from the Continent and Yorkshire for all well grown wools, but the demand for all other sorts was irregular. The average price realised in the first three days of the week was £l2 19/- a bale or 9.7 d per lb. The new series of wool sales will begin in August.
