BOWLING

INDOOR RINK A meeting of R.S.A. bowlers was held in the Olympia Rink last night to consider an offer by Mr H. Lister to lease the Indoor Rink. Messrs C. Howe, F. Davey, A. Grayburn, W. Gledhill, C. Dewar, C. W. Markham, W. Farrow, S. Arthur, J. Greenfield, J. Toneycliffe and J. Stevenson were elected a committee to canvass for prospective members, at a subscription (for this year only) of 15/-. It was decided that any bowler be eligible for membership. The committee will meet again in a fortnight’s time, and if sufficient support is forthcoming, a deputation will wait on the executive of the R.S.A. at its next meeting, when the matter will be finally decided.
