LATEST ADVICES The Walmarino loaded yesterday for Picton, Wellington and Auckland and was to depart last night for Lyttelton. She was delayed by rain, however, and will probably get away this afternoon. The Gale took Wellington and Wanganui shipments yesterday before departing for the north via Lyttelton. She is due from Oamaru and should get away for Lyttelton that night. The Holmdale should be here on Thursday to lift Wellington, Picton and Wanganui consignments. She will proceed north via Lyttelton the same night. The Holmglen Is now due from Dunedin on Friday to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. Kent To-morrow The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Kent will atrive from Lyttelton to-morrow morning to complete discharge of her London cargo. While here she will commence loading for London and will continue at Oamaru, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Wellington and Napier, from whence she is to sail finally about July 21. She is due Home about August 31. The Tekoa The Federal Company advise that the Tekoa is now due at Wellington tomorrow from Wanganui to complete her Homeward loading. She is to clear finally on June 18 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama canal. Waiwera’s Itinerary The Walwera was to leave Wellington on Sunday for Gisborne, Napier, Opua and Auckland, leaving Auckland on June 30 for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. Empire Star’s Altered Schedule The Empire Star, which is at present loading in New Zealand for the United Kingdom, will now go from Lyttelton to Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington, where she is due tn June 23, and thence to Auckland where she is scheduled to arrive on June 29. She will sail finally from that port on July 2 for New York and London, via Panama? Middlesex Clears Colon The Middlesex, which left Wellington on May 20 for the United Kingdom, left Colon last Wednesday. Personal Captain W. Whitefield has taken command of the Waipiata, vice Captain E. R. Lowe, who has transferred to the Waitaki, relieving Captain A. S. Dalgleish for orders. Captain T. S. MlacNicol has been appointed master of the Kalmai, relieving Captain H. S. Collier, who has transferred to the Wainui, Captain G. W. Evans having come ashore from that vessel for orders. Mr W. J. Hill has joined the Marama as chief officer, relieving Mr R. Tulloch, who has transferred to the Walmarino. Mr N. L. Mackie has been appointed third officer of the Maunganul, relieving Mr A. H. Gell for holidays. Mr G. H. Edwards has joined the Monowai as third officer, relieving Mr C. R. Oarlyon, who has transferred to the Tamahine as acting second officer. Mr W. N. Aimers, of the Maori, is now chief engineer on the Marama, relieving Mr A. L. Gatland, who has come ashore. Mr E. E. Low, of the Wahlne, is now chief engineer of the Maori. Mr A. Thomson has been appointed chief engineer of the Waitaki in succession to Mr H. McDougall, who has retired from the Union Company’s service.
