It was a cold night on an interIsland express steamer, and a commercial traveller noticed a business acquaintance among those 1 on deck, who was suffering from a cold. The traveller took his friend down to his cabin to give him a dose of Baxter’s Lung Preserver which he always carried with him. To his astonishment he found two bottles in his suitcase and so was able to give his friend one of them. It so happened, his wife had slipped a bottle of “Baxter’s” in his suitcase when packing his bag for him, and on his way to the station the traveller had purchased another, not knowing that he already had “Baxter’s” with him. ■All experienced travellers find it wise to carry a bottle of “Baxter’s" wherever they go.
