Kidd said the children at Mount Nessing had only received one treatment. Parents in his district were Inclined to object to paying the 5/- fee when only one treatment was :r;eived. Explaining the position, Miss E. M. Robertson, the dental nurse, said the schools were taken in turn, and each one was advised when to attend. It would be possible in future to give the full treatment. .’t was deci led that the various schools should be advised when the r.rse commenced at Fairlie, and also when she left the district. Mr B. F. Hayman, headmaster at the Fairlie School, offered to take messages on the telephone from any parents desir' ig urgent treatment for their children. Mr Davison said he wished to move a vote of thanks to Miss Robertson for the way she had carried out her duties during the year. He would also like to include Mr Carlton in the motion, because of the great interest he had taken in the dental clinic since its Inception.

Mr Kidd seconded the motion, and it was carried unanimously. Miss Robertson reported that during 1935 she had done 1503 fillings, 91 extractions and 300 minor operations. Treatment had been given to pupils from the following schools: Allandale, Mount Nessing, Mona Vale, Burke’s Pass, Albury, Skipton, Sherwood Downs, Ashwick Flat, Kimbell, Chamberlain, Cricklewood and Fairlie. SOCIALS AND PRESENTATIONS Arrangements are well in hand for the social to be held in honour of Mr and Mrs David Barnes, and at a recent meeting presided over by Mr H. Tritt, the date was fixed for the beginning of July. It was stated at the meeting that as there appeared to be seme concern among some organisations in Fairlie with regard to the social being non-political, a matter that should be made quite clear was that the social was to be an entirely non-political function. Mr C. J. Talbot had kindly consented to preside, and it was hoped that all societies would co-operate to make the social a complete success. It was further decided that no charge would be levied on any visitors from outside the Mackenzie County. A good number of visitors from outside districts were likely to attend. At a pleasant evening recently, Mr F. Black, in recognition of his approaching marriage, was the recipient of a presentation of a set of carvers from Mr W. J. Dick and his emplyoees.
