PRICES WELL MAINTAINED By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, June 10. Prices were well maintained in most classes of stock at Addington to-day. Store Sheep.—There was a smaller yarding and improved values for forward wethers and ewes. The former sold to 24/7 and sound-mouthed ewes to 24/6, f.m. to 19/-, and ewe lambs to 25/9. Fat Lambs.—There was a keen sale with prices up to a halfpenny above schedule rates. Fat Sheep.—There was an entry of 5000 head. Big wethers were slightly easier, export ewes firmer and other sorts unchanged. Best wethers made 27/- to 35/-, good 24/9 to 27/6, medium 22/- to 23/6; best ewes 22/6 to 27/-, good 20/- to 22/-, export 14/- to 16/6. Fat Cattle. —The 450 penned sold at little change in values. Best steers made £lO to £l3, good medium weight £B/10/- to £9/15/-, ordinary £6 to £7/10/-; best heifers £7 to £9/5/-, good £5/10/- to £6/15/-; best cows £6/10/to £9, good £5 to £6/5/-. Fat Pigs.—There was no change in values. Baconers made 48/6 to £4 (average price per lb 5d to 5Jd), porkers 28/- to £2/1/6 (average price per lb 5d to 5Jd), and choppers 30/- to £4.
