CROQUET

TEMUKA CLUB At a general meeting of croquet players of the Temuka Tennis and Croquet Club, held at Mrs J. T. Smart’s residence on Monday evening, Miss G. A. Brown presided. After a letter had been read from the South Canterbury Croquet Association regarding B grade bisquing, it was decided that the bisquing remain at 5 to 6i inclusive. The delegates to the annual meeting. Mesdames W. H. MacMillan and T. Shiels, gave a comprehensive report of the meeting at which Mrs J. T. Smart had been elected country vicepresident of the South Canterbury Association. A flag won in the A grade competition was presented to Miss Brown. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mrs G. Paterson in her illness.
