FIVE O’CLOCK PARTY
The hall at “Holme Station,” Pareora, decorated with large bowls pink and blue hydrangeas and asters, when Mrs A. S. Elworthy was hostess at a delightful five o’clock party on Saturday in honour of Miss Diana Orbell, to-morrow’s bride. Mrs Elworthy received the guests wearing a smart georgette frock in brown tonings patterned in a fern leave design and a wide brown Leghorn hat, the crown circled with leaves.
Miss Orbell wore a navy crepe de chene frock patterned in parchment and a parchment straw hat with blue band. Those invited were Mr and Mrs Herbert Elworthy, Mr and Mrs P. A Elworthy, Mr and Mrs W.
