JANUARY WEATHER January was a month of moderate temperatures with the lowest rainfall for the last four years. There were no very high temperatures, the highest in the shade meing 84 deg. on the 29th. Rain fell on 15 days during the month: 4 points on the 3rd, 24 on 6th, 17 on 7th, U on 12th, 45 on 13th, 83 on 14th, 9 on 15th, 18 on 16th, 5 on 17th, 29 on 19th, 84 on 20th, 3 on 23rd, 28 on 29th, 22 on 30th, 5 on 31st; total for month 302 points; 341 points fell in January, 1935, and 701 in January, 1934.
