Play in the Australian tennis championships was continued yesterday. Results were:— Men’s Singles Semi-finals Quist defeated Hopman 4-6, 6-2, 10-8. Crawford defeated Kay 6-2, 9-7, 6-2. Women’s Doubles Semi-finals Misses Blick and Woodward (Victoria) defeated Mrs Hopman (Victoria) and Miss Hartigan (New South Wales) 6-2, 6-4. Misses Coyne (New South Wales) and Wynn (Victoria) defeated Misses G. and D. Stevenson (Victoria) 6-4, 8-6. Mixed Doubles Final Hopman and Mrs Hopman defeated Kay and Miss Blick 6-2, 6-0.
