GERMANY’S GIGANTIC PREPARATIONS United Press Assoclatlon—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 3. The “Sun-Herald” says that during the three years of his regime Herr Hitler has spent more than £1,000,090,000 directly and Indirectly in preparations for war. These figures are the first definite estimate of German expenditure on rearmament, and are based on statistics of capital investments compiled by the semi-official German Business Research Institute, of which Professor Wagemann, a prominent Nazi economist, is director.
