TOUR OF ALL BLACKS
ON EVE OF IRISH MATCH United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 4. The special correspondent of the United Press Association says: "The New Zealanders are not surprised that five Ulstermen are included in the Irish team, as they consider the Ulster pack to be the best they have yet encountered. However, they are amazed that Morris was preferred to Davey, who was one of the stars of the game. "The tourists have not seen a better full-back anywhere. Morris must therefore be an out and out champion,” said one New Zealander. The ■ same applies to Morgan who was included despite the brilliancy of Turner. Morgan, however, is regarded as the star Irish back, and is also considered to be the best half in Britain. Ireland looks to her forwards to win the game but everything depends on the weather. The New Zealanders admit that on a heavy ground they will be up against things. The Irish forwards are solid honest scrummagers with fast, able tacklers at the side of the scrum. On the contrary, the inclusion of Oliver, Griffiths and Hadley will make a big difference to the All Blacks. Hadley is hooking better than ever and the correspondent thinks that the odds will be slightly in favour of New Zealand, wet or fine, in view of their great performance at Murrayfield. Probable Teams The teams will probably be as follows : New Zealand Full-back—G. Gilbert. Three-quarters—N. A. Mitchell, C. J. Oliver, G. F. Hart. Five-eighths—T. H. O. Caughey, J. L. Griffiths. Half-back—B. S. Sadler. Forwards—A. Lamboum, W. E. Hadley, D. Dalton, R. M. McKenzie, S. Reid, R. R. King, j. E. Manchester and A. Mahoney. Ireland ’ Full-back —D. P. Morris (Bective Rangers).
