TIMARU CLUB A meeting of the Timaru Cycling Club was held on Wednesday night, the following being present: Messrs W. R. Wilimott (president). R. Rodgers, C. H. Foley, T. Stoddart. R. Rennett, J. Parfitt, F. Tozer, G. V. Tozer. A vote of thanks was passed to the following for donations.—T. W. Satterthwaite, M. H. Richards, Mrs Parfitt, H. Harris (Washdyke), J. H. Wilson (Cave), and to the following for trophies.—C. W. Cameron, J. W. Souter, J. D. Fraser, R. A. Rodgers, R. Rennett, A. Hill (Timaru), Jas. Spillane, R. D. Gibb, S. Goddard (Temuka). It was decided to alter the date of the championship race to November 30 to save clashing with the Rakaia sports. It is intended to hold a track meetir.j e*ly in December. The following handicaps have been declared for the race from Washdyke to Cave and back to-morrow, commencing at 3 p.m. Scr.—P. Hansen, E. Allan, J. Cremin. W. J. Tod. Umin —W. Hopkins, J. Cameron, R. K. Bellam, L. Preddy. The Timaru-to-Christchurch road race will be run on Saturday, November 23rd.
