MILLIONS TO COUNTER UNEMPLOYMENT United press Association— By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Recived September 18, 10.25 pm.) PARIS, September 18. The Government is planning to spend £12.000.000 to provide work for thousands throughout France. It will be M. Laval’s first step to reduce unemployment. The programme includes improvements to motor roads, harbours and forestry work. A sum of £1,500,000 will be spent on building the Great Exhibition for 1937.
