Except in the case of Marlborough-Nelson-Westland, Otago and Southland Districts, the number of nominations exceeds the number of delegates required. A postal ballot is therefore being conducted and the necessary ballot paper is being despatched to each sheepowner owning not less than 100 sheep in the districts concerned. The electoral committee elected from the above will assemble in Wellington on August 28 and 29 to consider the thirteenth annual report and statement of accounts of the New Zealand Meat Producers Board, and to elect three producers representatives on the Board. The nominations are:—H. D. Acland, Christchurch (sitting member); E. ! Averill, Hastings; J. D. W. Ormond, | Waipukurau (sitting member); Sir William Perry, Masterton (sitting member); R. D.
