THE GAME OF FOOTBALL.

Although victory, in the matter of points, was won by the Timaru Boys High School Rugby football teams in the annual matches against Waitaki on Saturday, every boy who donned a football jersey in this year’s time-honoured football engagements between two splendid schools shared in the glory. We have repeatedly urged the South Canterbury Rugby Union to face up to the real issue. The large attendance on Saturday demonstrated beyond a shadow of doubt that Rugby football has still a big following in South Canterbury which will pay to see the game attractively played!
