FLOODS IN CHINA
LARGE AREA INUNDATED United Press Association —By Electric Telegrspb —Copyright (Received July 19, 6.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, July 18. It is estimated that 2000 square miles of the Shantung Province are inundated by flood waters. A total of 14,000 bodies were recovered in two cities in the Hupeh Province. The death roll is at least 50,000. Floods in the Yellow River are believed to have drowned 30,000 people.
